Oh, how you play me with those deceiving eyes,
An innocent look redressing your cunning lies.
What lover? You’re yet a stranger, in the fairest disguise.
Tho my heart still belongs to you who agonize.
Such a wretched betrayal concurred to our sudden demise,
I was absolute to you — where hath your affection lies?
Yet I fell in love with the soul behind your caressing eyes —
Never did I think’d this is how we’d say goodbyes…
