My name is Melissa Rose Miller, and I am an author, artist, and film photographer based in Long Beach, California. I created this website as a personalized outlet for creative expression and a digital portfolio to share my art, writing, and film photography. These are the passions that make me feel alive, and my greatest hope is that sharing them with you will leave an impact on you too.

So who really am I? I am the author and illustrator of "Devilish Imperfections," a short story, and "Do a Kickflip," a collection of skateboarding haikus and illustrations. It has been both surreal and humbling to publish my work, and I look forward to sharing future publications. 

​

Contributing to a multitude of seasonal issues, I am also a writer and photographer for The Living Zine and The Luna Collective. It has been such a delight to have my writing and photographs featured in these magazines, amongst others such as The Art of Nothing Press and Stoke Much Magazine. Additionally, I am also the coordinator for The Art of Nothing Press, a non-profit poetry publication and collective based in Long Beach, California.
