Softly tucked away at my thigh,
As he peaceful slept by and by.
Gracefully shut, the cocooned eye,
Awakening the fluttering lashes — a butterfly.
He soared at great depths, arising to the sky,
Still caressing my hand as he did when he lie.
My sweetest of insects — how lucky am I,
To hold you in such tenderness til the very day I die.
