A Sunset (Poem)

Beaming an extraordinary light,

One more powerful than man,

And all the Earth’s elements.

Iridescent yellows, oranges, and reds,

Glow upon the luminous figure,

In such an intense magnitude,

That it may blind the eye.

As our wellspring descends below,

The depths of the Earth,

We await for its contrasting figure,

To softly glow the darkened universe.
