Power (Poem)

If you are ever feeling weak or small,

Remember how empowering it is:

To be the controller of your future,

To be the decision maker of your every obstacle,

To be the force that drives your every move,

And to be the being that manifests your own destiny.

Perhaps, in a way it's scary how much power we have:

The power to perform regrets that haunt our future,

The power to make a mistake and suffer the consequences,

The power to direct yourself down the wrong road,

And the power to risk our lives for failure.

Life is a series of how we pursue the power that we possess

Which can be our biggest blessing,

Or our biggest curse,

Depending on how we exert our powerful beings.
