Incompetence (Poem)

There's so much beauty in being incompetent.

Expanding outside of one's comfort zone,

Into a new, essentially humbling realm.

Striving for excellence,

In an area of un-expertise.

Or perhaps being identified as the 2nd placer,

Motivated with an incentive and initiation,

To obtain the honor of the 1st placer.

But once that title is claimed,

Being the best becomes a stagnent role,

A prideful entitlement with no means for improvement.

So that is why I want to try everything,

But be the best at nothing.
