The Herewith Issue 004 (Revelation) Launch Party was thrown at the Common Roasters Room in Costa Mesa on January 19th. The first guests to arrive received a special gift of a large Roxy beach bag which contained a Bondi Hydrating Mist, essential oils, hair products, and more! All guests recieved Herewith's newest edition issue: Revelation. Free drinks and poki were also provided as guests watched artists paint a mural, danced away to the DJ, or snapped sentimental shots in the photo booth corner.

Herewith bestows their legacy in not only empowering women, but inspiring woman to live above and beyond the realm of norm, expanding the horizons of the limitless universe. This magazine enhances the beauty of art, photography, traveling, surfing, and most importantly following one's passions. It's wholesome and enriching content is one that you don't just merely skim over, it's one you absorb with infinite meaning. An article that particularly appealed to me was "I learn to go alone." by Jen Yih. This article reflects on the importance of true connection, not of "social media, posting, sharing, liking, following, unfollowing", but of "genuine connections, conversation, [and] embraces" (Yih 25). Yih testifies her aunt's perspective upon life that essentially resonates with every individual with the notion that "you came into this world alone and you're going to leave alone. You're not entitled to anything, you're just a visitor here" (Yih 25). And that, my fellow reader, is the message I want to pass down to you as well.

Also, on a less serious note, enjoy the few photos I have from the launch party! (first photo taken off of my Nikon FG and second photo was from the Herewith photo booth)
